A local Chicago favorite, former news anchor, and Chicago Sun-Times writer, Carol Marin visited i.c.stars to do a bit of catching up with a couple of her mentees, Jerry Johnson and Thomas Chatman-current interns with i.c.stars.

"When we met, she was very open and provided me with great life advice", says Jerry Johnson.

"I'm greatful to know someone like her", says Thomas Chatman.

Sometimes we think that we are not important enough to catch the attention of people who spend there time in public view.
