We’re making a bet that promoting youth entrepreneurship and technology is a good thing- for the tech community, for the city, the region- and especially for some great kids and future leaders.
We’re betting on some top notch organizations with the vision and energetic leadership to create access, possibility and promise. These organizations make practical connections between kids and real-world entrepreneurs, mentors, internships, and training.
Smart Bet 2007 raises funds for 3 great charities:
i.c. stars: Providing internships and education in technology and leadership.
Future Founders: The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce’s Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative.
Chicago Communities in Schools: Helping Chicago Public School students and their families connect with possibility.
