Announcing the publication of “Write The Future�

Chicago (June 1, 2006) – i.c.stars is pleased to announce the publication of “Write The Future�, the latest installment in its annual series of papers discussing the issues and challenges facing the IT workforce. This year, the paper addresses:

- The forces/characteristics shaping the future enterprise and the capabilities that IT organizations must exhibit;
- The kinds of value that businesses need from IT; and,
- The competencies that must be developed in order for IT organizations and the businesses they enable to be successful.

The paper takes the form of thoughts and commentary by each of the participating experts. Some of the topics discussed include:

“Write The Future� was written as a collaborative effort among 9 IT Leaders, Academics, and Content Experts. It was used as the basis for a CEO panel discussion of the forces and trends shaping the future enterprise during i.c.stars’ annual Capitalize On Illinois dinner held on May 1, 2006.
