i.c.stars Alumni Deliver Service Day to Five Community Organizations.

Chicago, IL (May 30, 2009) — i.c.stars Alumni Association, a Chicago-based organization devoted to the use of technology as a medium for positive community impact, is sponsoring an Alumni Service Day on Saturday, May 30, 2009. Spear-headed by Cycle 18 Alumnus, Tiffany Baggett (tbaggett@icstars.org), the event is designed to foster unity and demonstrate philanthropy and positivity.

Alumni Service Day

An Agenda to Motivate and Celebrate

Participate in a morning of volunteer activities organized by one of five Alumni Team Leads. Adan Romero (Cycle 8), Bea Elizalde (Cycle 10), Brandies Dunagan (Cycle 11), Thomas Chatman (Cycle 15), and Sherita Whitaker (Cycle 16) have graciously agreed to each organize a team of five alumni to provide a day of group service to a designated not-for-profit organization on the morning of Saturday, May 3Oth. The day is coupled with an afternoon of celebration, reflection, and next steps at Seward Park, 375 W. Elm St. in Chicago @ 3:00 p.m. the same day.

Service Day T-shirts are available for $15 dollars. Visit Cristhian Romero
